It seems like a blink of an eye since Jack and I were sitting around toying with the idea of whether to release a double-sided cassette (How To Dress Well/Prizes was the first idea) or a 7” single. We plumped for the 7” in the end and Blackbird Blackbird. 18 quick months later we’re now lining up our first ever EP for a band we think are very special. Outfit released “Two Islands” through us last year, still one of our favourite singles to come out on the label, and now they follow it with their debut (and our debut) EP on the 14th of May.

It’ll come out on 12” and it’s well worth grabbing the physical: it comes as two long mixed sides with no breaks and is limited to just 500, ever. The EP itself has touch points all over the map - there’s some early-00s DFA in there, Caribou, Nicholas Jaar… and something intangible that already belongs to Outfit.
